Baked meat samosas


For 8 people

  • Samosa sheets - 1 package
  • Vegetable oil to grease the baking pan - 1 tablespoon
  • To prepare the filling:
  • Beef - 500 g
  • Halved onion - 1
  • Sliced carrot - 1
  • Coriander - ¼ cup
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Fresh ginger - 2 tablespoons
  • Pine nuts - 2 tablespoons
  • Mixed spices - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon


Mince the meat in the Moulinex HV6 Mince & Chop using the small grid then put in a bowl.

Turn over the meat mince and place the chopper. Thinly chop the onion then the carrot, coriander, garlic, pine nuts and ginger.

Heat the oil in a medium pan and fry the pine nuts until golden.

Add the chopped onions, carrots, garlic and ginger.

Add the meat and mix for about 10 minutes until combined with the vegetables then add the coriander.

Season the mixture with mixed spices, salt, cumin and black pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place 1 tablespoon of the filling onto the edge of each samosa sheet and fold into a triangle.

Repeat with the rest of the filling.

Arrange the samosas into a greased baking pan and put in the oven.

Bake for 15 minutes until golden.

Serve the meat samosas beside your main dishes.
